30 Rejections That Changed My Life
Hey there,
30.
I was rejected for over 30 tech jobs between 2018 and 2020.
Each time, I felt unworthy.
I had launched 3 apps on the App Store. One of them reached top 3. Why wasn’t anyone "seeing" me?
Then in 2020, I decided to apply to Stanford University Graduate School of Business to get my MBA.
It was the only school I applied to. Round 3. The only problem was my GMAT was a 640.
Every admissions consultant told me the same thing—you have no chance in hell.
Could I face one more rejection? Everyone told me I’m crazy. What should I do.
I decided to apply and I got in. And ended up having some of the best 2 years of my life.
After graduation, I got to work as a Senior PM at Apple.
Funnily enough, in business school I wrote a one man show about how to trust yourself. I've since evolved that show into a coaching practice where I now teach others how to do the same.
Here are 3 lessons I want you to remember from this:
→ Dreams can change. Let them 🔮
→ If you are feeling rejected, remember that a rejection letter doesn’t mean you don’t have immense value and impact you can bring to the world 💯
→ Just because someone doesn’t “see you” doesn’t mean you’re not meant to be seen 👁️
